DropImage is very simple to use. Simply drop images either onto the application icon in the Finder, or into the DropImage window. The image and information about it will be displayed. You can toggle the boxes to the right of the image to determine if the displayed image is scaled in the viewing window. The window itself can be resized to show more or less of the image as you see fit.
Modes
There are four modes to DropImage. They are defined as follows:
  Mode 1
Scale To Fit -- the image is scaled down to fit within the window while maintaining the same proportions. If the image is smaller than the window, it is shown at actual size.
Mode 2 
Scaled Zoom -- the image is scaled down or up to fit within the window while maintaining the same proportions. If the image is smaller than the window, it is scaled up to fit the window.
Mode 3  
Zoom Full -- the image is scaled down or up to completely fill up the window without any regard to the image's proportions.
Mode 4  
Resize To Fit -- the window is resized to fit the image. This resizing only occurs once, when each image is opened. The scaling of the image then takes on the characteristics of Mode 1 above.
If none of the modes are selected, the image is drawn into the window with no scaling. If it does not fit, the parts of the image that do not fit are clipped out of the view. Choosing any mode will restore this.
